MindZone Community Counselling & Psychotherapy — Scotland CIC ("MindZone", "we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it's kept safe.
When you book a session: your name, email address, whether you're a West Dunbartonshire resident, whether your session is online or in person, and — if you choose to share it — a short note on what you'd like the session to focus on. This is used to confirm and manage your booking, take payment, and let you or us reschedule or cancel it.
When you send an enquiry: your name, email, optional phone number, and your message — used only to reply to you.
When you register interest in the youth counselling service: the young person's first name and age, and a parent/guardian's name and contact details, plus any brief note you choose to add — used only to get in touch about the service.
Payments: we never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe, a regulated payment provider.
Booking and enquiry information is stored securely with Supabase, our database provider. Confirmation and notification emails are sent via Google/Gmail. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, other than these providers who help us run the service.
We keep booking records for as long as reasonably needed to manage your ongoing care and meet our professional and legal obligations. If you cancel a booking, your contact details are removed from that record at the point of cancellation.
For the youth counselling service (ages 13–18), we only collect information provided by a parent or guardian at the point of registering interest, and use it solely to make contact about that service.
