MindZone Community Counselling & Psychotherapy — Scotland CIC ("MindZone", "we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it's kept safe.
When you book a free initial consultation call: your name, date of birth, address and postcode, email, mobile number, your preferred contact method (video call via Microsoft Teams, or telephone), and — if you choose to share it — a brief note on your reason for reaching out. This is used to arrange and confirm your consultation, and to let you or us reschedule or cancel it. This call is free of charge; we don't take any payment through this website. If you go on to arrange ongoing sessions with Mags, those are set up and managed separately through our practice management system, Kiku.
When you send an enquiry: your name, email, optional phone number, and your message — used only to reply to you.
When you register interest in the youth counselling service: the young person's first name and age, and a parent/guardian's name and contact details, plus any brief note you choose to add — used only to get in touch about the service.
Booking and enquiry information is stored securely with Supabase, our database provider. Confirmation and notification emails are sent via Google/Gmail. If you go on to arrange ongoing sessions after your consultation, that information is managed separately in Kiku, our practice management system. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else, other than these providers who help us run the service.
We keep booking records for as long as reasonably needed to manage your ongoing care and meet our professional and legal obligations. If you cancel a booking, your contact details are removed from that record at the point of cancellation.
For the youth counselling service (ages 13–18), we only collect information provided by a parent or guardian at the point of registering interest, and use it solely to make contact about that service.

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We log a simple, anonymous count of page visits (just the page and time — never your name, email, IP address, or any other identifying detail) so we can understand how the site is used.
